First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ

     It is no secret that I joined the ministerial association kicking and screaming; however in the meeting today I couldn't help but feel God's Spirit.  As I left today I was once again reminded that God is working in our lives and in the life of His church.  The theme of the meeting seemed to be on God being up to something in Logan County and that it was up to us as his followers to see what he's up to and join him there. 

     Well, you have heard me say it a lot in the past few weeks; "The Spirit of God is alive in the people of God" which is the theme for our KY region transformational focus.  God is working in the lives of his children and it is up to us to see what he is doing and join him there.  It is not up to us to create new programs and ask his blessing,He is already working let's see what he is doing and join him.  

     In order for this to take place we have to be willing to share what God is doing in our lives and we also have to be willing to listen to what God is doing in the lives of those around us.  I am excited about partnering with the KY Region and Dr. Roxburgh, I truly believe that God is up to something in our church and our county.
